The location was beautiful and incredible, a minute walk from Porta Santa Maria. And it was also adjacent to the views of the Grossglockner, breathtaking Großkirchheim and Heiligenblut. Double room with an amazing view was the best...

The View: I felt like I was on top of the world, surrounded by majestic mountains. It was like having my own personal nature documentary right outside my window.
Torn Towels: Cleanliness could have been better with torn towels provided.

My recent stay at this charming hotel in the Austrian Alps was absolutely delightful. The location, perched on a hillside overlooking the valley with breathtaking views of the Grossglockner, was simply stunning. The wooden furnishings and traditional Austrian decor gave the hotel a cozy and authentic feel. The staff, from the friendly lady owner in local dress to the pleasant young receptionist, were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room I stayed in, possibly a free upgrade, was adorable and well-equipped with a comfortable bed, kitchenette, and balcony. The buffet breakfast offered a variety of fresh and delicious options. the peaceful ambiance and warm hospitality made my stay at this hidden gem truly memorable.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Great breakfast and comfortable rooms. The location was perfect for hiking and enjoying nature. The surrounding area was serene and offered a great sense of peace. The staff was helpful and friendly, always willing to offer assistance when needed and generally made the experience a good one.
The hotel could use some updating, as the decor was outdated and the rooms were not as modern as they could be. The lack of nearby restaurants and eateries was an inconvenience, and the hotel restaurant was not all that great.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel, located in a serene valley that offers breathtaking views of the mountains. the clean room and modern bathroom were complemented by the warm and attentive service of the friendly staff. the delicious breakfast spread was a treat every morning. the skibus to the highest mountain in Austria was conveniently located just outside the hotel, and we enjoyed taking advantage of the sauna.
The hotel lacked clear communication about closing times and how to access the entrance doors when the reception was closed.
